Abstract
This article aims to explain the legal regime of fundamental rights in Peru, especially the right to life, and to what extent figures such as abortion, euthanasia, or the morningafter pill restrict said right while generating conflicts of conscience in health care agents. Faced with this unique situation that characterizes contemporary societies, the rights of freedom and conscientious objection are constituted as means that guarantee the autonomy and independence of the person from the State and allow them to govern their life in accordance with their deepest moral convictions.
